As I was scrolling down all these updates in the film industry, I came upon an article that obviously caught my attention. Seems to me that Johnny Depp will be working on a new project based on Don Quixote, which is an old spanish classic tale of a characteristic man who had an obsession with books and had his own imagination of life. Funny enough, in my AP spanish class, we are reading and comprehending Don Quixote's life. Johnny Depp will be working with Disney.
The reason why I chose this article is because i currently reading antique novel of Don Quixote. The novel is such a great book, it's a bit hard to read but it's very detailed. I never thought that even people would know about this old tale, and seeing that Johnny Depp will be producing this outstanding tale and working with Disney, is pretty cool. I am sure the upcoming movie will be a success.
This impacts me as a student because this is actually an educational novel, it is very interesting. As a future filmmaker this shows me that using old classic tales is the best to use for a film, bringing back old tales. Also, as a consumer this shows me that using celebrities such like Johnny Depp is a plus for marketing your brand. People might not even know who is Don Quixote and his tale, but having announcing that Johnny Depp is the producer, I am sure people are going to want to see the film.
This article makes me question Johnny Depp's intelligence in production, I wonder if he will do a good job. It also leaves me wondering, who will be part of the cast? Will they be changing up the storyboard? I hope for the best for this film, I will be looking forward in watching this at theaters.

I actually liked the story of Don Quixote. Johnny Depp as producer... I hope he pushes the Don Quixote to its best capabilities because Don Quixote will most likely be a fixating story when done right.
